The Makita Compact Cordless Vacuum Kit is probably one of the most powerful and clever little cordless vacuum cleaners I have ever used. It comes complete with 2 easy to fit nozzles. One that is for vacuuming large areas (a new and improved floor nozzle which improves maneuverability) and one for vacuuming smaller areas such as inside smaller gaps (great for quick clean ups).

I have encountered many problems with vacuums relating suction power, especially from small cordless vacuum cleaners similar to this. This can be really irritating when I am trying to power through the house work but have to keep re vacuuming areas to ensure all of the rubbish is collected effectively. I can honestly say that the Makita compact has the best suction power ever and I never have to face this problem any more. No more wasting time going over areas which were not successfully vaccumed! This vacuum even powers up heavy wood chippings no problem at all and can be extremely effective at cleaning large, heavy piles of mess. It proved very effective when my dog decided to bring home a huge stick and chew it to pieces all over my kitchen floor.

The Makita compact has an excellent compact and lightweight design which provides extra comfort with a soft ergonomic grip which I found is very comfortable to use and easy on my hands. This vacuum comes with a 2 stage cloth filtration system to stop harmful debris from entering your vacuum and makes an easier job of emptying your vacuum.

I was remarkably pleased with the length of time between each time I had to empty the vacuum. I have previously owned vacuums similar to the Makita that had to be emptied rather regularly which got really annoying at times. The increased storage capacity in this vacuum makes it perfect for long bouts of cleaning without having the need to empty.

The Makita compact uses an 18-volt compact lithium-ion battery which although is stated on the package to last for 10 minutes of constant use when fully charged, it actually lasts me 15-20 minutes of constant use. One of the best features this vacuum has is the rapid optimum charger which is provided as it gives the battery full charge in just 15 minutes.

Unlike many cordless vacuum cleaners on the market, this vacuum is actually worth the money that you pay. I have been using this vacuum for several months now and am extremely happy with it. So far I have encountered no problems at all with the vacuum and will continue to use and praise it for many years to come.

I would first of all like to start with the good points about this vacuum cleaner, and there are plenty!! The Eureka Quick-Up Cordless is by far one of the best cordless vacuums that I have ever used.

First of all, I’d like to start with telling you how light this thing is! I am generally not a very strong woman and used to struggle when moving some of my previous vacuum cleaners around when cleaning different areas of the house. This is part of the reason I’m such a big fan of cordless vacuums. The Quick-Up solved this problem instantly with it’s tremendously light weight. I no longer had to strain my back when lifting up my vacuum cleaner.

Pretty much all of my previous vacuum cleaners were terribly noisy when in operation but the Eureka Quick-Up is extremely quiet and I can even use it when the kids are in bed. I also liked how easily the handle installs and removes compared to some of my previous vacuum cleaners. This cordless vacuum can be quickly transformed into a hand held vacuum. As a mother of 2 small children this comes in handy when my children are eating cookies and spill crumbs on the floor. I can quickly turn my vacuum cleaner into a hand held vacuum and clean up the mess no problem at all.

Another feature I like about this vacuum is the stair cleaning handle which is provided. I used to have major problems cleaning my stairs with previous vacuums due to the awkward angle due to the the handle. Thanks to this little vacuums clean stair cleaning handle, I no longer face this problem. Another problem I used to face with my previous vacuums is my laminate flooring would become scratched due to the nozzle scraping against the floor. Even a lot of the small cordless vacuum cleaners that I have owned have done some significant damage to my laminate flooring. The Quick-Up comes with a brush roll which can be switched on and off for when you need to clean different floor surfaces and does not damage my laminate flooring. I have tested this cordless vacuum cleaner on a number of different floor surfaces such as -

• carpet
• hard stairs
• laminate flooring
• upholstery
• stone flooring

The Quick-Up Cordless Vacuum works incredibly well on all of these floor surfaces and does not cause any damage.

When I first received my Quick-Up and turned the power on for the very first time I was not expecting the suction power that it produced! It easily picked up all of the mess on my floor with ease. I have had my Quick-Up cordless vacuum cleaner for over a year now and still to this day the suction is amazingly powerful.

Overall this vacuum cleaner is amazing for when I’m doing the house work. The only bad point I feel that I need to mention about this vacuum is that it can be a bit messy when emptying. When I emptied the vacuum for the very first time I had the problem with the dust coming out as I took off the cap. When I empty it now I just take it outside, open my garbage can and hold the vacuum inside it while I empty it. I give it a few taps on the side of the garbage can to make sure all of the dust is completely removed. Other than this I don’t have anything negative to say about this awesome vacuum and would say it is one of the best cordless vacuum cleaners that I have ever used. As a professional housewife, I would give this cordless vacuum cleaner a rating of 9/10.
